Panel 2: In the present, Mini taps on Polly’s shoulder. Mini’s face is full of fear, and she asks, “W-where did Rover go? Mom, where did she go? We’re going to find her, right? Mom? Right?” Polly snaps out of her distressed trance, gasping, “Ah…”
Panel 3: Polly looks at Mini with determination and says, “…Yes, Mini. We’re going to find Rover.” Polly continues, “We’re going to find her together. You stay close to me, you got that?” Mini nods lightly.
